About Me
My name is Jem Alexander. I currently attend the University of Teesside in England where I study Computer Animation. I am a games journalist and I write for Joystiq.com as well as two Joystiq branded specialist sites, PS3 Fanboy and PSP Fanboy.
This blog is a temporary showcase for my artwork, including 2D, 3D and storyboards. Each image can be clicked on to view a higher resolution image. Most posts have a “more” button which will allow you to see more images and videos of the pieces of work. There are also a few blog posts I made when I first started writing about video games back in 2006.

One of my older pieces of work, this X-Wing was the first Star Wars model I produced. It was created in 3D Studio Max. Click “more” to see the model in various stages of production.
Star Wars “Tie Fighter” model
My second Star Wars model. It was while modelling this Tie Fighter that I became obsessed with fine detailing and “greebles”. This was produced in 3D Studio Max. Click “more” for close-ups of various parts of the ship.
